Following the devastating DANA floods in Valencia, BIGSOUND, one of Europe’s leading urban music festivals, has rallied over 20 international music stars to raise funds for affected communities through BIGSUBASTA.
Iconic artists including Daddy Yankee, Ozuna, C. Tangana, Myke Towers, and Bad Gyal have contributed prized items for the charity auction.
The auction on their website, set for November 11–13, is a unique opportunity for fans to bid on memorabilia from music videos and career-defining moments, with all proceeds going to the Valencia Red Cross.
BIGSUBASTA Charity Auction
BIGSUBASTA will run from 11:00 am CET on November 11 until 11:00 am CET on November 13. During this 48-hour period, fans can place bids on exclusive items contributed by stars like Daddy Yankee, who donated a shirt from his “Con Calma Tour,” and C. Tangana’s shirt from his iconic NPR Tiny Desk performance. Yandel, Myke Towers, and Lola Índigo are also offering special pieces, giving fans the chance to own memorabilia that represents unforgettable moments in music.
Items range from autographed guitars by Cali & El Dandee, a signed Dalí mask by Myke Towers, to Bad Gyal’s iconic outfit from the “Alocao” music video with Omar Montes. This auction celebrates the unique connection between fans and artists, while supporting Valencia’s recovery efforts.
Bad Gyal’s Documentary Screening: “LA JOIA”
As part of its charity initiatives, BIGSOUND is organizing a special screening of Bad Gyal’s documentary, LA JOIA: BAD GYAL, on November 14 at 8:00 pm at ABC Park Cinemas in Valencia. Directed by Valencian filmmaker David Camarero, the documentary captures Bad Gyal’s journey from Barcelona to international fame, navigating the highs and lows of the music industry. Tickets are available for €10, with all proceeds directed to the Red Cross.
The screening provides fans with a behind-the-scenes look at Bad Gyal’s path, offering insight into her resilience in the face of challenges. Attendees will also have the opportunity to hear from Camarero, who will discuss the film’s creation and the personal journey it depicts.
