Martin Garrix turns to his Ytram alias once again and drops the brand new single ‘Fire’ with Elderbrook, which was first played at Tomorrowland Around The World. For those that do not know, Ytram is Martin Garrix‘s deeper alias and it is his moniker ‘Marty’ spelled in reverse.
Garrix, who has been consistently striving to discover new and inventive sounds, to the delight of his fans, said the following about collaborating with Elderbrook:
“I got introduced to Elderbrook’s music by a good friend listening to it non-stop during my holidays, when he actually reached out to me via instagram after one of his tracks ended up in my stories. It was all super fluent and organically, which I love. We just hit it off and this was the end result.”
The killer sounds launches this new creation as one of the new highlights of the year. Together with the vocals from Elderbrook, this song shines through the competition and rises to the top. The minor harmonies and a lively vocal movement keep us tense all through the whole duration of this melody, with each line superior to the last.
The UK producer and vocalist Elderbrook commented on working with Martin by saying,
“Martin is someone I have always been a fan of and during lockdown I saw him post a clip of my song Numb, so I reached out to him to see if he wanted to work on something together. It was at the height of lockdown and we had to work back and forth on the song over zoom. We have still not met each other yet which is a crazy thought, but we do have a great song and cannot wait for everyone to hear this.”
