David Guetta’s iconic song ‘Play Hard’ featuring vocals from Ne-Yo and Akon has just made 1 Billion views on YouTube. All three artists co-wrote the song along with Frédéric Riesterer and Giorgio Tuinfort, both of whom produced the song with David Guetta. The song was released on 15 March 2013 as a single for the re-release of Davids’s fifth studio album, Nothing but the Beat that was released in 2011. This is the second collaboration between David Guetta and Akon, they also teamed up in 2009 for the Sexy Bitch.
The official video for ‘Play Hard’ was published on YouTube on 23 April 2013. This is the second song produced by David Guetta that passes the 1 Billion views on YouTube, in 2019 his hit ‘Titanium’ also passed that milestone.
To celebrate this massive milestone David Guetta posted a video on his socials with a future rave remake for ‘Play Hard’. He also announced that he will make a livestream really soon.
