Swedish mega house production duo of Galantis, Christian Karlsson and Linus Eklöw, has partnered with the prolific Dutch duo Lucas & Steve for their new single “Alien”, out now on Spinnin’ Records. Infusing their signature upbeat club sound, the dance-pop single sees the Swiss singer/songwriter ILIRA deliver an incredibly catchy vocal performance for a radio-friendly hit.
“The topic is pretty much how I’ve felt my whole life, having multiple ethnic backgrounds and never really fitting into society, always being “the other one.” Alien is the perfect metaphor and painting of my “homeless” soul. We made it sound funny but barely anyone realizes the pain behind it. It’s great to wrap sadness into bubble gum and fun.”

In classic Galantis fashion, they deliver a theme of sadness and feeling lonely in one of the most cheerful ways to continue increasing their unique genre-bending catalog. The song opens with infectious vocal harmonies that will pull you in from the get-go. Various dance music elements are scattered throughout the song that reigns more towards the pop music realm.
