Two of dance music’s biggest stars, Armin van Buuren and Alok, have joined forces once again, with their new single “Euphoria”. This time, they collaborate with Norma Jean Martine and LAWRENT. Released via Armada Music, the track showcases a fusion of classical inspiration, dynamic production, and soulful vocals.
A Reunion in the Making
“Euphoria” marks the first collaboration between Armin and Alok since their 2018 hit “United”, which featured Vini Vici. The pair blends their unique styles while integrating one of the most iconic classical compositions, Beethoven’s “Für Elise”, into the track. Norma Jean Martine’s commanding vocals elevate the production, continuing her streak of impactful performances following her work on Ofenbach’s chart-toppers, “Overdrive” and “Head, Shoulders, Knees & Toes”.
Armin expressed his excitement about “Euphoria” and working with Alok, saying, “I had a great time working with Alok again after ‘United.’ He really adds something authentic into the mix, as did Norma Jean Martine and LAWRENT. Can’t wait to unleash ‘Euphoria’ into the world.”
A Celebration of Collaboration
For Alok, the collaboration presented an opportunity to experiment with new sounds while retaining the high-energy feel that defines his work. Reflecting on the track, he said, “I was able to feel the audience’s first impression of ‘Euphoria’ during Tomorrowland, and now I’m excited to share it with everyone. As an artist, I enjoy creating collaborative works where I can explore new styles and sounds. This one with Armin, Norma Jean, and LAWRENT, is more geared toward dance floors and clubs. I hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed producing this track.”
From Classical Elegance to Modern Energy
“Euphoria” delivers a vibrant mix of Armin van Buuren’s progressive sound, Alok’s dancefloor-ready beats, and LAWRENT’s innovative production techniques. The addition of Norma Jean Martine’s emotive voice gives the song a distinct character, seamlessly blending classical and contemporary elements. This follows Alok’s collaboration with Brazilian icon Anitta on “Looking For Love” and Armin’s operatic venture with Natalie Gioia on “Viva l’Opera”.
With “Euphoria,” Armin and Alok create a track slated to echo clubs and festivals this 2025. The latest single is now available on all major streaming platforms.
