‘Everything I Wanted’ Becomes the Defining Moment
Among the standout inclusions, the album’s lead single, ‘Everything I Wanted’, has quickly become its emotional centerpiece. Re-envisioning Billie Eilish’s haunting original with vocalist Malou, Armin transforms the track into a trance anthem filled with soaring melodies and pulsating energy. The rework keeps the fragility of the original but gives it a widescreen, euphoric lift meant for festival stages.
Armin shares, “Ibiza is my home away from home and continues to be a huge inspiration for me. This year’s mix album is especially close to my heart. It captures the energy of my first extended set since 2018: the six-hour opening night set at Ushuaïa. A lot of the tracks from that night, including my new single with Malou, ‘Everything I Wanted’, are featured in the mix.” The track anchors the compilation, bridging global pop recognition with trance’s emotional depth.
