Hey Regard – Can you tell us a bit more about the experience of performing at FIVE Palm Jumeirah’s Penthouse?
“I’m feeling better than ever before, really living life to the fullest. When I performed at FIVE Palm Jumeirah’s Penthouse I remember being blown away by what a top-tier location it is. As you walk in you can see amazing views over the Marina Skyline and you can feel an incredible vibe right away as you continue into an exclusive club setting. You’ve gotta check it out!”
What’s the one feeling you have felt at FIVE and never felt before?
“The treatment from the crowd and staff was all really extraordinary! Not only were the people who came to check me out true fans of the music but it was clear that everybody involved in the event went above and beyond to make it a special evening… not just for fans, but for the artists too!”
If you could describe the whole FIVE concepts in a couple of words, what would they be?
“A true bucket list destination that everybody needs to visit at least once in their life. If you like to have a party every now and then or enjoy unreal dining concepts (Cinque and Maiden Shanghai), FIVE hosts some amazing events (Skyline Friday and Bohemia) as well as housing some of the most incredible restaurants I’ve ever set foot in.”
Can you tell us how your passion for music started and at what age? How difficult was it for you to start playing on some of the biggest stages in the world?
“I discovered my passion when I was very young, around 15 years old. It was quite difficult because in the 5 years before I joined LEAF Management, I wasn’t being paid at all for my work, but I guess that is part of the struggle of being a rising musician. In terms of playing on the biggest stages in the world, it wasn’t really that difficult because it was, and will forever be, a dream of mine.”
How would you describe your sounds?
“I would say my sound is developed from the ’80s & ‘90s music genres and is blended with modern productions and sounds that I’ve learned to include along the way.”
Can you tell us the story behind ‘Ride It’? How and when did you start working on it etc?
“The story behind “Ride It” comes from a random night in Croatia! I was returning to my hotel from a performance and I was listening to the original “Ride It” by Jay Sean on the radio. When I arrived home, I immediately started to work on my version. I guess at this point it’s safe to say that the rest is history.”
What’s your inspiration? What inspires you when you sit down in the studio and produce music?
“My inspiration stems from my undying passion for deep house music!”
What’s your biggest dream at the moment?
“Winning a GRAMMY one day!”
Can you tell us more about your future plans, upcoming releases, or something else you want to share with our audience?
“I have a huge album coming up that I can’t wait to share with the world. I’d also love to reach the Top 10 Most Listened-To Records in the world this year.”
