Burning Man 2020 is canceled, but there will be a Virtual Festival instead

We believe this is the right thing to do.

Burning Man Project just announced that 2020’s edition will be canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic that the whole world is dealing with right now. So Burning Man is added on the list with festivals that will not happen in 2020, but lucky the organizers announced that they will run an Virtual Festival instead.

We look forward to welcoming you to Virtual Black Rock City 2020. We’re not sure how it’s going to come out; it will likely be messy and awkward with mistakes. It will also likely be engaging, connective, and fun.

The Burning Man ticket holders are able to request a refund, but in this moments if you afford to lose the money is good to not get your money back, because in this way you help the festivals survive into the next years.
