Gabry Ponte is making 2025 his biggest year yet. From his groundbreaking entry into Eurovision with San Marino’s dance anthem ‘Tutta L’Italia’, to headlining Milan’s San Siro Stadium for a historic 55,000-capacity show, the Italian DJ and producer is proving once again why he’s a force in electronic music. Add to that his latest Latin-infused single ‘Exotica’, the rapid rise of his PENTAPHONIA Records, and a new mix series teasing fresh techno sounds—Gabry is shaping the future of dance music on multiple fronts. We caught up with him to talk about his massive year, creative evolution, and what’s next.
Gabry, it’s so cool to have you here with us again! How is everything in your life going right now?
Hey everyone! Really happy to be chatting with you all again. It’s such an exciting time—things are busy, but in the best way possible. There’s so much in the pipeline, and I can’t wait to share more soon!
San Marino has a history of surprising Eurovision entries, and now you’re taking it to the dancefloor with ‘Tutta L’Italia.’ What inspired you to enter Eurovision, and what can we expect from your performance?
After Sanremo ended, my fans kept asking for it on social media for days—I always try to listen to what they want. I was honestly a bit sad that I couldn’t take part! So when the invitation from San Marino arrived, I knew I had to go for it. It felt like the perfect opportunity, and I knew it could even lead to Eurovision. Now that I’m here, I’m bringing Tutta L’Italia to the Eurovision stage with a performance that’s full of energy, passion, and, of course, a lot of dancing. We’ve been working hard on the show for weeks, and I can’t wait for everyone to see it!
‘Exotica’ blends Latin rhythms with electronic energy, following your work with Sean Paul and Natti Natasha. What draws you to this fusion of sounds, and do you see it shaping the future of your music?
‘Exótica’ is a blend of my musical influences. I always try to keep my ears open to a wide range of sounds so I’m always ready to be inspired. Lately, Latin music has played a big role in my rotation—I find it incredibly captivating. Working on Exótica was an absolute blast, and the same goes for ‘Born To Love Ya’ with Sean Paul and Natti Natasha. I seriously can’t wait to do it again!
PENTAPHONIA is growing fast, and now you’re launching the ‘PENTAPHONIA Presents’ mix series. What’s the vision behind this project, and how does it reflect where you see techno heading in 2025?
PENTAPHONIA was born out of the need to create a space where I could independently develop the more techno-oriented side of my music. I’ve always had a deep passion for the genre and the culture it has fostered. I’ve noticed that the love for techno has grown significantly, especially with the increasing conversations around it on social media. In general, I believe it’s still experiencing an important moment, particularly in terms of media attention. There’s also a renewed interest in the underground scene and OG club culture, which I see as a major trend in 2025.
You’re making history headlining San Siro. What does this milestone mean to you personally, and how are you preparing for a show of this scale?
It’s mind-blowing! Almost 30 years ago when I first started DJing, there was no such thing as ‘superstar’ DJs. We were just part of the club experience, and there was little to no interest in us. But now, to think that 55,000 people are filling a stadium, each one of them there for my music, it’s really amazing.

You’ve evolved from Eiffel 65 to solo hits, label founder, and now a stadium headliner. Looking back, is there a defining moment that made you realize how far you’ve come?
I’m starting to think that this moment may never come! This year has been full of emotions, packed with milestones and achievements I never imagined reaching. But I also feel that some of the most defining moments are still ahead, happening in the next few months! Honestly, I don’t think it’s time to look back just yet—I want to focus on everything I’ve yet to accomplish!
With Eurovision, a new label, and a historic stadium show, 2025 is already huge for you. What’s next on your radar—any dreams or projects you’re still chasing?
I prefer to focus on what’s in front of me. Job’s not finished! I’m fully committed to making the most of what’s coming up. I’m all in on the present!
Any message for all your fans?
Can’t wait to have you all dance at Eurovision first, and at San Siro right after! And stay tuned lots of new music about to be released.
