The three music titans, David Guetta, Martin Garrix, and Timbaland have just discussed the records that formed their musical universe as they were growing up, the events and personalities that contributed to forming their view of the world, as well as their current and future projects.
They also discussed what they learned from each other when working on joint projects, their favorite studio gear, workflow across multiple time zones, and what inspires them both musically and culturally from the world of today.
The talk was moderated by BBC Radio1 DJ, Danny Howard on a special session of “The Evolution of Our Sounds” for Amsterdam Music Festival 2020, everything happened in a Zoom call because as you may know for this year AMF took place online due to the current pandemic.
