- Hello DJ Bliss, it’s great to have you with us! As someone born and raised in Dubai, you’ve witnessed the city’s incredible growth firsthand. How are you doing today?

Well, it’s been fascinating to see just how much Dubai has transformed over the years. I remember when the skyline was just starting to take shape, and now it’s a stunning blend of modern architecture and innovation. The city’s growth is a testament to its vision and ambition, and it’s been incredible to witness that, firsthand.
From the expansion of cultural landmarks to the development of cutting-edge technology hubs, Dubai has always been full of surprises. It’s not just about the skyscrapers, but the rich traditions that make this city so unique.
Dubai also stands as a global beacon of luxury and entertainment, offering an exceptional lifestyle destination for discerning Millennial and Gen-Z travelers from around the globe – and its status as a premier hotspot for those seeking both opulence and excitement is well-earned. I am always proud to say that I am from Dubai.
- You’ve got a strong connection with FIVE, which has become a go-to spot for visitors. What drew you to FIVE, and why do you think it’s the perfect place for people visiting Dubai, especially when it comes to partying at BLING and Paradiso Dubai?
My connection with FIVE Hotels and Resorts runs deep because it encapsulates the dynamic spirit and luxuriousness that Dubai is known for worldwide.
What captivated me about FIVE Hotels and Resorts is that it’s a high-octane, entertainment-fuelled destination where the party never stops. BLING at FIVE Palm Jumeirah is a distinctive underground venue where urban music sets the stage for a fun night out. On the other hand, Paradiso Dubai at FIVE LUXE is in a league of its own… Its Spain counterpart was voted Number 1 in the list of The World’s 50 Best Bars in 2022 which is a testament to how special it is. - Are there any memorable experiences from one of your sets at BLING or Paradiso Dubai that stands out?
There is one unforgettable night at Paradiso Dubai that stands out vividly in my memory. I decided to drop the track ‘Oh My,’ and the reaction from the crowd was nothing short of electric. As soon as the beat dropped, the energy in the room immediately skyrocketed.
The whole space erupted into a euphoric celebration. Seeing everyone so present in the moment is what makes playing a set at Paradiso Dubai so special as it highlights the vibrant spirit of this destination.
- In your opinion, what makes FIVE stand out in Dubai’s party scene? What should guests expect when they come to a party at FIVE?
FIVE offers an unparalleled celebratory experience in Dubai, that’s simply unmatched. You enter a realm where the beats are exhilarating, the atmosphere is charged, and the nights are absolutely legendary. Guests are treated to top-tier music in an irresistible ambiance which guarantees that it’s one for the books!
- Your track ‘808’ with BIA, released through FIVE Music, has been making waves. How did the collaboration with BIA come about, and what was it like working with her?
It really was an incredible experience! We were both excited about blending our styles and creating something fresh for the charts. The track bridges cultures across continents and pays tribute to an iconic instrument – the 808 drum machine.
Working with BIA on ‘808’ was fantastic and she brought an amazing energy and creativity to the project. Her unique sound and dynamic presence really elevated the track. We spent time in the state-of-the-art FIVE Music Studio at FIVE Palm Jumeirah experimenting with different sounds and ideas, and her input was invaluable in shaping the final product.
The process was creatively fulfilling, and a lot of fun. We shared a vision for ‘808’ that pushed the boundaries and resonated with our audiences. The music video was an interesting blend of Dubai’s two contrasting facets; the over the top lifestyle with fast cars and yachts, merged with the more traditional desert dune landscapes and Arabian sunsets.
Seeing the track make waves, getting such positive feedback and reaching #7 on the official Spotify Top-200 United Arab Emirates Charts has been incredibly rewarding. It’s always exciting to collaborate with artists who share a passion for innovation and quality music.
Securing a deal with FIVE Music was truly exciting. ‘808’ is now accessible everywhere through this dynamic label, a collaboration between Warner Music Central Europe and FIVE Hotels and Resorts.
- For those planning a trip, when do you think is the best time to visit Dubai to ensure an unforgettable holiday?
The best time to plan a trip to Dubai is between November to April, when it’s not too hot. It’s the perfect time to explore the city, hit the beach, or enjoy outdoor music festivals.
Summers are warmer, but if you don’t mind the high temperatures, you can find some great deals on hotels and enjoy indoor attractions such as the malls or indoor skiing. And of course, the nightlife remains unfailingly vibrant.
If you’re looking to avoid the crowds but still enjoy nice weather, consider visiting in October and May. For the ultimate experience though, aim for the cooler months to fully savor everything Dubai has to offer.
- Who or what has been your biggest inspiration throughout your music journey?
My biggest inspirations throughout my journey have been the immersive culture of Dubai, and the people of the city. Dubai’s diversity, energy, and drive to push boundaries have always fuelled my passion for music. I find motivation from the stories of those who have dared to dream big and chase their passions, just as I have. This fusion of cultural influences and the unwavering support from my fans has been, and continues to be, my greatest driving force.
- Looking ahead, what can we expect from you in terms of new releases or upcoming projects, particularly with FIVE?
Working at the FIVE Studio at The Penthouse, FIVE Palm Jumeirah has been nothing short of epic, and we’re just getting started. You can expect some fresh new tracks – plus, we’ve got some major projects in the pipeline that I can’t wait to share. There’s also much to look forward to at Playa Pacha at FIVE LUXE JBR – Dubai’s largest pool and beach club experience; and the iconic Bohemia by FIVE at Beach by FIVE, FIVE Palm Jumeirah – the day-to-night extravaganza known to host the best beach parties in Dubai.
