DJ Tennis and Campbell King Drop New Track “Misbehave” on Life and Death

Part club record, part Carnaval procession, DJ Tennis and Campbell King's "Misbehave" is peak-time music built for open-air environments.

DJ Tennis has released a new track on his own label Life and Death. The track named “Misbehave” is exactly what the name suggests. The new single from Manfredi Romano, released today alongside an official music video, pairs Campbell King’s commanding vocals with heavy percussion, talkative basslines, an infectious cuíca sample, and detuned synth leads into something that sits equal parts club weapon and Carnaval procession. It is one of the highest-octane records he has made in recent memory and it lands right on time for summer.

The track follows “Playa Paradiso” with Eliza Rose, which earned widespread praise across the electronic music press last summer. “Misbehave” picks up where that momentum left off and pushes harder. This is peak-time music built for open-air dance floors and long nights.

Life and Death Turns 15

The new release also lands in the middle of a significant year for the label ‘Life and Death’. The label Romano founded turns 15 in 2026. A milestone for one of underground electronic music’s most distinct creative ecosystems, built around melody, vocals and broader genre influence. The current roster includes Demi Riquisimo, Jennifer Loveless, Luke Alessi, Cole Knight, Paurro and Butch, among others.

Before electronic music, Romano promoted punk shows, managed artists, and worked alongside The White Stripes, Sonic Youth, Björk and LCD Soundsystem. That cross-scene perspective runs through everything Life and Death has released — and “Misbehave” is no exception.

“Misbehave” by DJ Tennis featuring Campbell King is out now on Life and Death. Stream and watch here.
