A dream place like no other, where music united us in the heart of the Alps. This can describe Dreamland Festival, which took place on 9-10 September 2022 and amazed everyone with its spectacular location and a top-notch line-up. Hottest names in the industry like Timmy Trumpet, Nicky Romero, James Hype and many more DJs and artists brought the madness and made the ravers to dance like nobody was watching.
Relive the dream of the Dreamland Festival 2022
A secret for years, was finally unveiled. After 2 years of pandemic we were able to dance again under the same sky in Lanzada, a marvellous place located at en elevation of 983m, on the border between Italy and Switzerland. The edition was sold out, with a total of 5500 ravers in two days of festival.
Day 1
On 9th of September, Josa entered people into the dreamy atmosphere, followed by the Verso. Then Discoradio- radio leader in Lombardia heated up the crowd. The following artists- Rhove with ‘Shakerando” and the performance of Tony Effe made the public to go wild and to raise their hands in sheer bliss. Not to say that Lost Identities and Raven& Kreyn played special sets and continued the madness. An awaited moment was when BounceMakers went up on stage and dazzled festival fans with an amazing set and played the Official Anthem of the Dreamland 2022- ‘As long as we dance tonight’. Resident DJs and co-founders of the festival, Bouncemakers made possible for this musical dream in the mountains.
The festival couldn’t continue without the German electro house music producer and DJ- Tujamo that ‘Drop that low” and many emblematic songs. The first day of the festival ended up with a massive energy from the progressive house superstar, Nicky Romero who played a lot of bangers.
Day 2
On 10th of September, the last day of the festival, the audience gave all the energy left for one more time. The Italian artists- Bitcode and Ado Woodz let love and music reverberate through their music. Discoradio Party entertained and prepared the entire Dreamland Family for one of the greatest Italian rappers- MamboLosco. The second day of the festival was like no other with the Swiss Dj- Mister Alive and Hugel- multi gold and platinum selling artist, instigator of the Latin House movement. After hits like Morenita, Aguila and more, the line-up unveiled Kream- the Norwegian Duo that garnered worldwide attention for their unique blend of bass-driven dance music and melancholic vocals. The hype of the night was when the author of the summer hit ‘Ferrari’ took the stage and dropped the fresh Lazza Remix of ‘Ferrari’, #1 Spotify Top 50 Italy.
Another highly anticipated moment was when Vini Vici set the stage on fire with a well-defined signature sound. Last, but not least Timmy Trumpet smashed the entire stage with his show full of energy, flames, vodka and a selection of Italian songs. Definitely, an emotional moment was when he brought the Italian flag in front of the crowd.
The 2022 edition closed with fireworks and the whole team on stage. Dreamland Festival was about a blend of emotions bringing in the heart of the Alps new talents and legends from different music genres. Loving souls were united under a curve led-walls stage, which is a novelty for the festival. Also, they had the opportunity to buy merchandise from the official store located at the entrance of the festival and to put glitter and other make-up in a designed area.
