On 14th of March, 2019 iHeartRadio hosted their 2019 awards show and EDM took top places in various categories of the music awards.
“The Middle” by Zedd, Maren Morris and Grey has beaten acts like Drake, Ed Sheeran, Maroon 5 and Post Malone. The same hit also won the award for Dane Song of the Year.
Marshmello took home the award for Best New Pop Artist and Best Dance Artist over Calvin Harris, Kygo, The Chainsmokers.
The Chainsmokers, on the other hand, won the award for Best Album for Sick Boy.
