Eric Prydz recently took to X and confirmed that he has six new two-track Pryda EPs finished and ready, with the first featuring singles ‘Mygga’ and ‘Modulation’.
The announcement came after Prydz asked fans how they wanted the music delivered. “Moving forward. Classic 2 track Pryda releases? Or 4 track? They will all come out eventually but will sound better on vinyl plus original concept. Thoughts? I got 6 new 2 track EPs lined up and ready,” he wrote. Within the hour he had his answer — and so did we. Two tracks. Classic format. Done.
The decision echoes how Pryda operated during its defining singles era, when Prydz built the alias on tightly curated drops through Pryda Recordings, later compiled on the 2012 retrospective Eric Prydz Presents Pryda.
The Wait Is Over
For fans who’ve been patient, the gap has been real. Pryda’s last official output came in 2023 with the dual release of ‘The Return’ and ‘Of Me’, leaving roughly two years of unreleased IDs circulating in sets with no formal records to point to.
‘Mygga’ is one of those IDs. It has already surfaced in recent Prydz sets, sharpening anticipation ahead of any formal release announcement. Fans tracking 1001Tracklists have flagged it across EPIC sets for months. Now it finally has a release attached to it.
EPIC Radio Is Back Too
After an absence of nearly six years, EPIC Radio returned on 5 March 2026 with a new format, airing every two weeks and opening with a special episode built entirely around unreleased Prydz material.
The revived show simulcasts across YouTube, Insomniac Radio, and SiriusXM’s Diplo’s Revolution channel, with Prydz joining the YouTube live chat during each broadcast.
The intent behind it is clear. Prydz has opted to limit his touring and spend more time in the studio, stating: “I still have so much I want to tell musically.” Six finished EPs and a relaunched radio show suggest that shift is already well underway.
What Comes Next
No release date yet for ‘Mygga’ and ‘Modulation’, but the confirmation that 12 tracks across six EPs are finished and ready means the rollout is a matter of when, not if. For a producer who has historically let music sit for years before releasing it, having a stated plan and a running radio show to debut it through is about as close to a guarantee as Pryda fans are going to get.
Watch the EPIC Radio feed. The drops are coming.
