The Dutch government is slowly reducing the COVID-19 restrictions and reopening society. These are amazing news for the huge EDM industry in the Netherlands. Health Minister Hugo de Jonge said that concerts, festivals, and many other events will be allowed to welcome ticketed attendees if they use coronavirus test results to regulate entrance. He also confirmed that many more restrictions will be released on June 30th if the situation continues to improve. Event organizers are celebrating that this fall all the Festivals will open their gates for a massive comeback.
Festivals in the Netherlands are BACK! After a year and a half of a particularly challenging time for dance music, we are delighted to hear this amazing news from the Dutch Government. We can finally come together, hug each other on the dancefloor, share our love for music and escape the hardships of life. It’s time to go back to what we love the most. Can’t wait to welcome you again to one of our events, so see you soon at A Day At The Park, ASOT 1000, The Secret Project, AMF & many more! See you on the dancefloor! – Allan Handenberg, CEO of ALDA Events
Many raves are planned this fall. On the 3rd and 4th of September, the exciting celebration of the already sold-out ASOT1000 in Jaarbeurs, and two weeks later on the 18th of September people will party at “A Day At The Park” in Rotterdam. And of course, the massive week at Amsterdam Dance Event in October. AMF will celebrate as well its massive return on the 16th of October with a world-class DJ lineup at Johan Cruijff Arena in Amsterdam.
This second half of 2021 looks promising for EDM and we can not wait to see this long awaited reopening.
