Galantis and David Guetta teamed up with British superstar pop trio Little Mix to create ‘Heartbreak Anthem’ on Big Beat Records.
Even from the first hearing of the song you can hear the specific pop-house signature from Galantis and their sound mixed with David’s specific song and together with the vocals from the British X Factor‘s trio, Little Mix, cooked up the hottest electronic-pop song at this moment.
The official music video has a cool story behind it, it was inspired by the Nights at the Circus, a magical realism novel from1984 by Angela Carter, and the stage production is called Winged Fatales, which features ‘Angelic beings called from another world.’
The song was produced over the course of a year, it started with some chord progression at a studio in London right before the pandemic, and after that, it was a remote work due to pandemic from London to Los Angeles to Stockholm to Paris.
