Hardwell Takes On The World with New Tomorrowland Radio Show

Hardwell opens up about “Euphoria”, his new radio show, that aims to bring deeper musical exploration and emerging talent to Tomorrowland’s global audience in this exclusive interview.

As dance music enters 2025, Hardwell takes another major leap with the launch of “Hardwell presents Euphoria”, a monthly show that airs every fourth Friday of the month on Tomorrowland One World Radio at 21:00 CET. It’s set to capture millions of listeners in over 130 countries globally. It extends Hardwell’s radio legacy while preserving the thrilling energy that shaped his status in the EDM scene.

In this exclusive EDMNOMAD interview, Hardwell reveals his insights in blending new ideas and global connections. The globally acclaimed DJ and producer signals that progress in EDM hinges on both creativity, discovery, and accessibility.

Breathing New Life into Radio

The name alone, “Euphoria,” sets the tone. Hardwell explained its origin this way: “I wanted something punchy and straight to the point. My shows are always about creating that excitement and euphoria for the listener or person on the dancefloor. So, it felt like the perfect name. What is it they say, ‘it does what it says on the tin’?”

At the announcement, he offered extra insight. “I’m really excited to kick off my new monthly show, ‘Hardwell presents Euphoria’, on One World Radio. This show is all about diving deeper into the music I love. It’s centered on creating a new space for us all to enjoy the freshest new releases, and classic anthems. Can’t wait for everyone to tune in and join this new journey!”

Beyond Hardwell On Air

Hardwell’s popular broadcast, Hardwell On Air, still maintains a global following. However, “Euphoria” charts a fresh path for his radio identity. He shares, “Hardwell On Air is a show that has a long legacy with my sets and my label Revealed Recordings, along with new music and pushing new talent. But like with any radio show, the boundaries can only go so far within the specified running time of the show. Whereas “Euphoria” allows me to broaden the experience in new directions. It’s a completely different show with a totally different format. Between the two formats I’m now able to cover so much more music. It’s also another platform for music discovery and pushing talent.”

Revealed Recordings label boss, Hardwell sees opportunity in this duality. He’s given the ability to promote emerging artists with the freedom to explore deeper musical territory.

A Global Stage for New Sounds

Tomorrowland’s official radio station provides the perfect arena for “Euphoria.” The show leverages a network that reaches millions across multiple continents. Hardwell highlights this potential. The iconic DJ and producer shares, “Tomorrowland’s footprint is truly global. Through their One World Radio platform they’ve created a unique space for dance music to thrive. I’ve always loved the medium of radio. With this new show, I have the opportunity to connect global audiences with music I truly believe in and want to share—without any restrictions.”

Influence of Touring Adventures

International performances drive Hardwell’s creative decisions for “Euphoria.” He stated, “Touring is of course a huge influence in my music creation and the structure of my radio shows. It always has been. Having a radio show that is global facing means I can cover so many areas musically. It gives me a reason to dig deeper into the genres of other cultures while trying to share that in my shows. I’m lucky that I’ve been to many places through my music. But, I do think it would be pretty cool to do a super special set somewhere unfamiliar in one of my shows, like say Alaska or the Amazon.”

By weaving these global influences into “Euphoria,” Hardwell enriches each broadcast with sounds that resonate far beyond typical EDM circles. The prospect of new ventures feed the program’s far-reaching ambition and his continuous hunt to bring fresh sounds to the EDM landscape.

Balance, Routine, and the Road Ahead

Amid an ever-changing industry, Hardwell relies on structure to shape his creative process. “Committing to a regular radio show requires a routine, which is something I’m very focused on these days. Putting all my energy into a show that I have to dedicate time to each week/month gives me something concrete to concentrate my mind on. This is always how I work best.”

As for the future of “Euphoria,” Hardwell remains open-minded. “Who knows..I always say ‘never say never’ because you just don’t know what is round the corner. I’d love to see this grow into something bigger than what it is now. But, before thinking that far ahead, at the moment I’m focused on delivering a great radio show experience for the fans.”

With that forward-looking spirit, “Euphoria” seems poised to evolve in step with Hardwell’s ceaseless push for innovation—adding another thrilling dimension to Tomorrowland’s radio universe.
