The label closed last year with its celebrated Best of Insomniac Records 2024 compilation. Packed with 25 standout tracks, the collection highlights the label’s stellar year and sets the tone for 2025.
Celebrating Musical Highlights
The Best of Insomniac Records 2024 album is more than a greatest hits collection. It’s a snapshot of the year’s defining electronic moments. HUGEL and Diplo’s “Forever” and BLOND:ISH’s “Never Walk Alone” were major highlights. These tracks represented Insomniac’s dominance across festivals, playlists, and dance floors worldwide.
The compilation’s tracks earned millions of streams and topped major playlists like Spotify’s ‘Mint.’ Mau P’s “On Again” reached over 1.1 million video views. Meanwhile, HUGEL and Diplo’s “Forever” amassed 23.5 million Spotify streams, proving Insomniac’s global reach.
Expanding the Insomniac Ecosystem
2024 wasn’t just about chart-topping tracks. Insomniac Records expanded its influence through events, publishing, and collaborations. The label hosted festival stages at flagship events like EDC Las Vegas, Beyond Wonderland, and EDC Mexico. Its branded shows included Noizu’s NYC takeover and a showcase at ADE in Amsterdam.
Insomniac also launched Insomniac Publishing, solidifying its role as an industry innovator. Its new Insomniac Studios headquarters expanded opportunities for creativity and collaboration.
Kicking off the year, the highly-anticipated EDC Thailand on January 17 to 19, marks Insomniac’s debut in the country. There has also been talks of taking Armin van Buuren’s ASOT festival to the United States. Insomniac showed no signs of slowing down in 2024 and for the year ahead.
