- 1. Hey Jeff and John ! Glad to have you here to talk with you about your latest release ‘Do It All Again’
Thank you! It’s great to be here and talk about our new track. We’re really excited to finally share ‘Do It All Again’ with everyone. It is a project we have worked hard on and are very proud of.
- 2. Can you please tell us more details about ‘Do It All Again’? How did it come to life and when?
‘Do It All Again’ is a track we’ve had in mind for a while. We wanted to make something that would pop in a club or festival. The process started with a simple idea, but once we had the melodies and beats, it all came together. We worked remotely a lot, but with today’s technology that wasn’t difficult at all. The idea had been on the shelf for some time and was picked up by Jeff at the end of last year. We thought it was great to release it at the beginning of this year.
- 3 What sets ‘Do It All Again’ apart from your previous work, and why should listeners tune in?
‘Do It All Again’ has a slightly different vibe than some of our previous tracks. We have tried to increase the emotion of the music as well as the energy, with a focus on an immersive experience. The synths are richer, the drops are more powerful, and the overall production feels more refined. I think listeners will find the song appealing because it’s purely a mix of both our profiles and people are curious to see what came out of it
- 4. How would you describe your sound?
My sound is a mixture of electronic music, house, I always try to make music that is danceable on the one hand, but also has a deeper emotional layer on the other. It should be something that sticks in your head, something you want to hear not only in the club, but also when you are at home.
- 5. Who is Jeff Bounce and Cloudrider? At what age did you get into music and how? How did you met each other and why you start this collaboration together?
Jeff Bounce is the alias name of Jeffrey Sutorius. Cloudrider is my stage name, and I am a producer who is always looking for new ways to bring sound and emotion together. I started making music as a teenager. Jeff and I connected through his manager and our musical chemistry was immediately apparent. We share the same vision and passion for music, so it was natural to collaborate on projects like ‘Do It All Again’. This record naturally creates more room for collaborations between us
- 6. Do you remember the name of the first song that made you love electronic music?
Yes, absolutely! The first song that really touched me was actually a rock song that I used to play to the bone. Shortly afterwards I discovered Tiesto and Armin van Buuren and I could never listen to any other kind of music again haha.
- 7. Who or what has been your biggest inspiration throughout your music journey?
My greatest inspiration comes from the artists who dared to think outside the box. DJs such as Fisher, Mau P, Chris Lorenzo, San Pacho to name just a few names that inspire me today.
- 8. What’s the one activity you love doing in your free time when not making music?
I like craft beer, traveling, and workout.
- 9. Can you tell us more about your dream and future collaboration and what do you hope to achieve in the next 2 years in your professional career?
My dream is to continue making music that has an impact, not only on the dance floor, but on a deeper level with people. As for collaborations, I would like to work more with artists from the labels where I release music in the same genre. In the next two years I want to release more music, and hopefully perform on bigger stages.
