Since 2015 after his face reveal on stage with Tiesto at Ultra, KSHMR has continued to breathe new energy and excitement into the EDM landscape. Now, as one of the top 100 DJs in the world, he looks back and reflects on his artistic journey in his latest mini-documentary: KSHMR: Back To My Roots.
The documentary reveals new elements about Niles’ (KSHMR) persona, such as his childhood, his passion for music and various challenges faced along the way – issues that many producers and aspiring artists will relate to on some level.
The mini-documentary also looks at some of the main turning points in Niles’ life, from producing global hit “Like a G6” to his iconic performance alongside Tiesto, while exploring new territory. What no one knew is that the Californian-born artist actually went back to India with his grandfather during his teenage years, to learn about time management. It was during this time that he came to understand that the only thing he wanted to do in life was to create music and share his passion with the world at large.
