Known for his innovative “Reggatronic” style, LePrince is a triple threat – a DJ, singer, and live performer – delivering a fully immersive solo act that bookers can now secure for their events.
Having performed his first Reggatronic solo set at Defqon.1 or at the legendary Qlimax festival, LePrince continues to make waves in the electronic music scene. He is currently preparing a hardstyle EP, slated for release in 2025, showcasing his versatility and dedication to evolving his craft.
LePrince, born on May 4th, 1986, draws inspiration from a rich musical heritage. Influenced by traditional Surinamese music during his early years, he honed his talent by singing in Kawina and Kaseko groups before expanding into reggae, electronic, and now, hardstyle. His deep-rooted passion for music and performance was sparked after witnessing Michael Jackson’s iconic stage presence, inspiring LePrince to pursue his own path in music. His early accolades include winning first place in an HIV awareness campaign through music in 2010 and being recognized as Best R.O.C. Artist for Central Netherlands the same year. He also toured Holland singing and speaking about the problems that the epidemic causes in the world.
LePrince worked hard to create his own style combining reggae with an electronic flavour. His first song that gathered large recognition was Forgive Me produced by Leffy Ignacio Cairo. Throughout his career, LePrince has collaborated with renowned artists, including Da Tweekaz, Le Shuuk, AXMO and so on.
Now, as a fully independent solo act, LePrince is ready to bring his live “reggatronic” experience to stages worldwide. His performances are not just sets- they are powerful narratives of rhythm, culture, and transformation. “Music is all about life, and my life is all about music,” says LePrince, whose passion and dedication shine through in every performance. His ability to merge genres, perform live vocals, and command the decks ensures his audiences are treated to an unforgettable show.
