Chicago production duo Louis The Child is back with the announcement of their highly anticipated sophomore album, The Sun Comes Up, set for release on September 20 via Interscope Records.

New Single “Make You Mine” Out Now
Along with the album announcement, Louis The Child has dropped a brand-new single, “Make You Mine,” a collaboration with longtime friend and fellow Chicago native Whethan and vocalist Hayley May.
The track is a sun-soaked house anthem that blends infectious beats with light, summery vibes.
Louis The Child shared with EDMNOMAD, “We’ve known Whethan for almost 10 years now and came up around the same time in Chicago. We shared a studio back then and moved to L.A. around the same time to continue our pursuit of music. Getting to release another song with him is really special.”
Whethan added, “The first time I went to a studio and made music was with Louis The Child back in Chicago when we were still in high school. I’ve since gotten to travel the world with them. I’m excited to showcase a new collaboration that shows our evolution.”
For vocalist Hayley May, this collaboration was a unique experience. “Hayley’s voice was like magic,” Louis The Child said. “It was our first time working with her, and she just has this crazy range and soul to her voice.”
Hayley added, “Working with everyone on this record was a fantastic experience. It flowed organically, especially for our first collaboration. I’m honored to be part of this record.”
Upcoming Tour: A Day In the Sun
In support of the new album, Louis The Child will embark on their A Day In the Sun tour, a series of outdoor daytime shows starting in September.
The tour will feature a variety of special guests, including Whethan, who will join them in San Diego on October 5. Fans can catch Louis The Child at iconic venues like Red Rocks Amphitheatre and The Greek Theatre at UC Berkeley.
