Michael Roman Talks About his Latest Bigroom Release ‘U La La’ and more

  1. Hey Michael! Glad to have you here to ask you some questions about your latest release ‘U La La’.

Hey! Ok

  1. Can you please tell us the story behind ‘U La La’?

The track was created in just a couple of days. My team and I have been discussing for a long time that we need a track that will have simple lyrics and catchy vocals. We liked the example of “Tungevaag – Peru”, where the vocals are strong enough, it’s simple and the track is remembered and you sing along to it all day. Actually, we did the same thing, we got cool vocals, simple words and now we sing along with our track every day with the whole team!

  1. Why should people listen to and stream ‘U La La’? What were you trying to convey to your fans with the song?

The track is very simple, dancing. I think people will like to dance to it and have parties. There’s a simple chorus and you can sing along with the whole company. The track does not let go until the last, after listening to it once, you will walk for several days and this chorus and this drop will be in your head. The main thing that will get you listening is the mood for many days!

  1. How would you describe your sounds?

I repeat that the track was written quickly enough, I found a vocal sample (yes! this is a sample :)), then everything went quickly, I just sat down and wrote it in a couple of days. Track style Future Bounce and Big Room. It’s cool sounds, dynamics and dancing! I want to move and sing to it! The structure of the track is simple, according to the classical style of all tracks. Therefore, there are no tricks here, it is simple and very cool, like all the hits on the planet.

  1. Can you tell us more about yourself? At what age did you get into music and how?

Music has been with me since childhood. Even while studying in high school, I was fond of music, it was instilled in me through my father, he loved to listen to it and played the guitar himself, among other things. In 2005, I got acquainted with FL Studio and after that I have been doing music closely, but at that time, I did not think that it was possible to study professionally. It was my hobby, in my free time I made tracks, and I started with 140bpm and above, it was dubstep, drumnbass and the like. Only in 2019, when I spent a lot of time at home, I started doing it professionally, switched to slower bpm, in particular 120-128bpm and started releasing tracks, I also gathered an excellent team with which we are still working and achieving success.

I can brag to you, in 2023 I had a collaboration with one of the fathers of the EDM style, this is my childhood idol of German EDM producer — Klaas, you can hear our common track, this is a cover of Madonna’s song “Into The Groove”, listen – this is a bomb. 1. Your songs have awesome vibes. Can you tell us who’s your source of inspiration or what inspires you when you’re producing music?

I am inspired by my colleagues, I have several favorite artists, such as – Dirty Palm, Klaas, Tungevaag, Mesto, Brooks and etc. I am also inspired by my team, we have a lot of opinions and everyone helps me with new ideas, we have no problems with this, we are cool!

  1. What’s the most valuable piece of advice or motivation you received in your career and from whom it was?

Yes! It happened. I communicate with many producers, I study. But the most valuable advice was given to me by my colleague Klaas, we discussed some tracks with him and he helped me, suggested some chips, I respect him very much and his opinion was decisive for me. After that, I really tightened up the quality of my tracks. Many thanks to him, he is a true professional in his field and I respect him very much.

  1. What’s your favorite hobby? What do you like to do when you’re not in the studio producing music?

I do sports, I really like going to the GYM, I also spend a lot of time with my family, I have a happy family and am glad. I have my friends and often see them, we relax together, travel.

  1. Do you have any dreams at this moment? What are your future plans in terms of new music? Can you tell us more about future releases?

Of course, there are dreams and they are aimed at professional growth, cooperation with big labels, producers. The plans for 2023 are grandiose, I have several collaborations planned, these are TOP-level people in EDM music. I’m looking forward to it. I also have solo projects, I plan to try myself in a different style, return to my youth and make a few tracks at 140bpm. I am also actively developing my label, which is called “Holyspirit Records”, I have assembled a strong team and we already have successes and our own artists, whom we are developing. I think we’ll make some more noise in the future! Follow us!
