Last year, the dutch legend, Hardwell, has announced that he is taking an indefinite hiatus from touring and the music industry.
In a facebook post last year, Robbert, revealed that he has cleared his schedule indefinitely, but will continue to make music and hopes to “connect” with his fan through that.
His last show before announcing his break from touring was at Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome on 18th October 2018 during ADE. This was an extra special performance accompanied by the Grammy-winning Metropole Orkest, taking the audience through a journey of the evolution of dance music from the 80s to the present day with anthems reimaged in a classic and electronic hybrid including SHM’s ‘Leave The World Behind’, Stardust’s ‘Music Sounds Better With You’, as well as tracks from Donna Summer, Eric Prydz and Shapeshifters.
Check out “The Story of Hardwell”, which literally is just that – Robbert’s story from his upbringings as an up-and-coming DJ and music producer to the present day Hardwell and his extraordinary art. #StoryOfHardwell
