GRAMMY-nominated electronic music pioneers SLANDER, in partnership with global events powerhouse Insomniac, unveiled their groundbreaking new music festival, Starbase. Scheduled for April 25-26, 2025, this highly anticipated event will take place at the scenic Lake Perris in Southern California, combining SLANDER’s signature melodic bass sound with Insomniac’s unparalleled event production.
The Starbase festival with Insomniac marks a significant milestone for SLANDER, the duo of Derek Andersen and Scott Land, who have spent the past decade redefining the global dance music scene. Known for their emotive soundscapes and their self-coined genre, ‘heaven trap,’ SLANDER has graced the stages of Tomorrowland, EDC, Ultra Music Festival, and Lollapalooza, while establishing their labels Heaven Sent and Gud Vibrations. Inspired by their experiences at Burning Man, they envisioned Starbase as an exclusive, intimate gathering with limited capacity, zero set-time conflicts, and performances that stretch until sunrise.
“Starbase is more than a festival; it’s our way of giving back to the fans who have been with us on this journey,” the duo shared.
