Steve Aoki is currently the number 9 DJ in the world according to DJ Mag Top 100 DJs in 2018, and also a well-known producer/DJ and a Grammy-nominated DJ.
He just partnered with Impact Theory Comics for Neon Future, a brand-new series which takes place 30 years into the future and will envision a brewing war. The main character in the comics, called Kita Sovee, who is modeled after Aoki, is a mysterious figure who strives to bring peace, by showing the world a brighter future in harmony with technology. Neon Future will explore the dangers of rampant power and the never-ending human potential.
The comics icons Jim Krueger, an Eisner Award recipient for Best Graphic Novel and frequent collaborator with Marvel and DC Comics (Superman, Avengers, Star Wars, and Justice League of America), and Jheremy Raapack (Injustice: Gods Among Us) are a part of the creative team behind Neon Future.
