After releasing a remix of ATB’s classic ‘Your Love (9PM)’, Tiësto continues his stunning form in 2021 with another remix of the dance anthem ‘Selfish Love’ by DJ Snake and Selena Gomez. The latest single from the French hit-maker has amassed over 28 million streams so far on Spotify and looks set for more commercial success with a remix from the ‘Godfather of EDM’.
The original had a combination of Spanish and English vocals from Selena over pretty plucks. The saxophone became the standout element from the track over DJ Snake’s signature Latin beats. It’s a fun track with a downtempo beat that one can enjoy on the radio.
Tiësto puts a fresh house spin on the original which sees the track at a faster tempo with his signature bouncing bassline that has a modern touch to it. The remix opens up with an emotional pad under Selena’s enticing vocals that have a heavy delay on them. The added layer of pitched vocals and the reverb heavy feel over the low end carries the listener incredibly well into the beautiful saxophone sample from the original. The smash hit has been transformed into a club-ready song by the Dutch maestro that will have you moving on the dancefloor as soon as the beat kicks in.
