A Quarter-Century of Ultra: The Festival That Defined Dance Music

Since 1999, Ultra has been more than a festival—it’s a cultural force. It helped shape the global electronic music movement. Starting as a small gathering on Miami Beach, Ultra has become a global brand that veteran ravers and those just entering the scene this 2025, have come to love. Today, it sets the gold standard for electronic music festivals.

Moments are what build Ultra’s history. It has given fans Skrillex’s legendary 2015 set, Swedish House Mafia’s 2018 reunion, and Hardwell’s 2022 comeback. These moments aren’t just performances—they are part of dance music legacy. This year, new history will unfold.

To celebrate its milestone, Ultra launched a 25-episode docuseries, “All Eyes On Us”, chronicling the festival’s impact on global dance music culture. Each episode explores Ultra’s defining moments, counting down to this year’s festival.
