Rising producers Anthony Sceam and Nikademis have each been gathering a lot of attention lately, both having their distinct styles of bright and energetic production. Anthony Sceam’s take on bass house has allowed him to gather support from bass giants like Jauz, Ghastly, Sikdope and Ookay, as well as perform alongside the likes of Getter, Apashe and Dubloadz. Nikademis’ releases on the other hand are as versatile as it gets, as he effortlessly moves between bright future bass vibes and sinister bass bangers.
The two producers’ latest effort titled “Ghosts”, features signer Jay Malcuit and is the perfect combination of both their styles. An unexpected and bright summer feeling is immediately present in the song, as Jay Malcuit’s emotional vocal performance shines over a catchy chord progression. The drop approaches quickly, however, where listeners are met with downtempo bass energy, driven by heavy drums and distorted synths. The second drop surprises even more, as bright synth chords and a guitar lead appear, making up for an uplifting ending to the monster collaboration.
