Lollapalooza 2021 will go ahead at full capacity from 29 July till 1 August of this year. Organizers made the announcement of the festival’s comeback at full capacity at the iconic Grant Park in the city of Chicago. They shared the dates and informed that the lineup will be announced tomorrow at 10 am CT.
In light of restrictions on large gatherings easing up, Chicago Department of Public Health Commissioner Dr. Allison Arwady shared:
“We’ve made tremendous progress in containing the spread of COVID-19, with all of our leading metrics stable or on the decline. This is a reason to celebrate and why we’re able to make this announcement today. To ensure we celebrate safely this summer I encourage everyone to continue to be safe and smart; if you’re sick, stay home; wash your hands frequently; wear a mask if you’re traveling or using public transit; and most importantly get vaccinated if you haven’t. “
In a post made to their Twitter, the organizers shared a promo video for the return of the city’s most legendary music festival also marking it’s 30th anniversary. In compliance with safety regulations, the attendees will be required to present a proof of vaccination or a negative test result within 24 hours of attending the festival every day.
Tickets will go on sale tomorrow, 19 May at 12 pm CT shortly after the announcement of the lineup at 10 am CT on the same day. You can purchase your tickets for Lollapalooza 2021 here.
