Afrojack Talks About his and David Guetta’s Newly Released Track “Hero” – EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW

Our co-founder Klaus talked with Afrojack about the story behind the song, who the co-writers are, and also about the ‘Music Binds Us’ performance on 22 May on Eurovision.

In light of the new release from Afrojack produced together with David Guetta entitled “Hero”, our co-founder Klaus talked with Afrojack about the story behind the song, who the co-writers are, and also about the ‘Music Binds Us’ performance on 22 May on Eurovision and how he helps up-and-coming artists with his Wall Recordings imprint.

“Hero” is an inspiring summer song and is a crossover between Pop and EDM. It carries a relevant message: there is a hero in everyone. That the smallest gestures can help and touch others, is what Afrojack and David Guetta want to emphasise with this song. The song will be played during the interval act of the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2021.

This wasn’t the first time we’ve interviewed Nick. Last year we’ve talked with Afrojack about the harsh times the world was in and the conditions of the industry as shows and festivals got canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and how he felt playing Tomorrowland Around The World in front of a green-screen and no audience.

Thanks to MEDIA TORNADO for facilitating this interview.
