The big reveal is here: Armin van Buuren brings his Face2Face (F2F) concept to Ushuaïa Ibiza this September. From 7 September until 28 September, he headlines a month-long A State of Trance residency. This gives Ibiza four Sundays of electrifying Trance experiences. With F2F, Armin performs deck-to-deck with guest DJs, creating spontaneous choices and raw improvisation without seeing each other’s CDJs.
This format strips away predictability, leaving only creativity and instinct. “Bringing my Face2Face (F2F) concept to Ibiza for the first time, as part of my ASOT residency at Ushuaïa, is really special to me,” says Armin van Buuren. “Ibiza has always held a special place in my heart, and to experience this level of connection with the crowd, stripped back and focused purely on the music, is something I’ve been longing to do here.”
Opening night on 7 September pairs Armin with Oliver Heldens, supported by Olympe and Avalan Rokston. Expect explosive genre clashes and powerful synergy. Following Sundays showcase Lilly Palmer, Maddix, and AVIRA, each delivering distinct sounds while pushing Armin into uncharted territory. The residency finale on 28 September features Armin with an extended four-hour set.
