After an impressive debut that united the global progressive community last summer, Balance Croatia returns to The Garden Resort, Tisno from August 6–10, 2026, for its second edition. Curated by Australia’s Balance Music imprint, the festival continues to translate their revered compilation series into a living, open-air experience.
Celebrating 25 years of Balance’s influence on melodic and progressive house, this year’s edition expands across five immersive days and nights. With Adriatic sunsets, late-night olive grove sets, and sunrise sessions on the beach, the 2026 edition promises to deepen the connection between artists, landscapes, and the loyal global melodic and progressive house audience that defines the ethos of Balance.
A Line-Up That Defines Pure Progressive Sounds
The 2026 line-up captures all the artists within the progressive genre bringing them together for one massive festival retreat. It is a convergence of artists and future shapers across the melodic & progressive spectrum. Returning legends Hernán Cattáneo, Guy J, John Digweed, and Nick Warren join an extensive roster that reads like a love letter to modern progressive house.
New additions include Danny Tenaglia, Lee Burridge, Jody Wisternoff, and the much-anticipated Lost Miracle collaboration between Sébastien Léger and Roy Rosenfeld. From Henry Saiz and Patrice Bäumel to Miss Melera, Mariano Mellino, and Dmitry Molosh, the festival’s 70-plus artist line-up bridges continents and generations.

Pre-parties begin on August 6 with a performance from John Digweed and Danny Howells.
The Adriatic Experience: Music by Day, Magic by Night
Hosted at the idyllic Garden Resort in Tisno, Balance Croatia from its first edition has become one of Europe’s quite anticipated boutique festivals. The venue’s natural beauty sets the tone. Beachside sets give way to deep groove sessions, while after-parties at Barbarella’s Discotheque keep the rhythm alive until dawn.
Boat parties shall return for 2026. They will offer intimate voyages along Croatia’s Dalmatian coast with select artists soundtracking sunsets over turquoise waters. Across three core stages — Beach, Olive Grove, and Yard, the festival curates fluid, journey-style programming from noon to sunrise. Each element reinforces Balance’s identity: immersive, emotional, and sonically precise.
The Best of Balance Croatia 2025: Defining Performances
Across four days and nights, the Adriatic coast witnessed a masterclass in progressive storytelling from some of the scene’s most respected figures. The first pre-festival party headlined by Deep Dish and Khen, set the tone for the electrifying turn of events that were about to unfold.
Sasha and John Digweed closed the Yard stage on Friday with a seamless back-to-back that everyone looked forward to. From long, hypnotic blends to surging crescendos, their synergy reaffirmed their place as timeless curators. The crowd’s unified energy, hands raised, eyes closed. It was a reminder that some partnerships in dance music never lose their power.
Nick Warren delivered one of the festival’s defining moments on the Beach Stage, blending cinematic transitions with emotive breaks. One that reminded everyone why he remains a cornerstone of melodic house. His closing stretch, an intricate weave of deep grooves and shimmering synth work perfectly encapsulated the Balance ethos: music that connects, evolves, and lingers long after the last kick fades.

Guy J, meanwhile, provided what many attendees called the “set of the weekend.” His Saturday performance at the Yard stage was a journey through light and shadow, anchored by his unmistakable melodic control. When he dropped “Worlds Apart” and “Surreal,” the crowd erupted in a collective trance; but it was the debut of his unreleased remix — “The Acid – Accidents (Guy J Remix)” that sent transcendent waves through the crowd.
Hernán Cattáneo’s sunset session at the Yard was equally transcendent. A slow-burning progression that dissolved day into night with characteristic elegance. His selection, rich in texture and emotion, painted a sonic panorama that matched the Adriatic horizon glowing behind the stage. Every mix felt deliberate, meditative, and full of heart. The kind of musical storytelling only Hernán can deliver.
