Today’s the birthday of Armin van Buuren, his full name is Armin Jozef Jacobus Daniël van Buuren, he was born on 25 December 1976. The renowned Dutch DJ and record producer from Leiden, The Netherlands started to host A State of Trance, a weekly Radio Station in 2001 which is broadcasted weekly to around 40 million listeners in 84 countries around the world on over 100 FM Stations.
In the teenage years, he was inspired by the French electronic music composer Jean-Michel Jarre to tap into the music industry and he started to play multiple sets a week in Club Nexus, most of them lasted six or more hours. In 1999 he meet Dave Lewis who introduced him as a DJ in England and the United States, also in the beginning of 1999, Armin started his label Armind together with United Recordings
In the last 17 years, he won five #1 DJ awards in DJ Mag Top 100 DJs.
