Sunburn Festival returns in 2025 with its first-ever Mumbai edition, naming two-time Grammy Award winner David Guetta as the first headliner. After 18 iconic years on Goa’s beaches, Sunburn moves to the ‘city-that-never-sleeps’ to host a 3 day festival from December 19–21, 2025. The move reflects organiser’s ambition to reach a wider, more diverse audience while overcoming Goa’s logistical challenges and embracing Mumbai’s vibrant youth culture and nightlife.
David Guetta Brings The Monolith Tour to India
Guetta’s performance will be a part of his globally acclaimed The Monolith Tour. It promises to be a larger-than-life production. His history with Sunburn and India’s dance music community run deep. He closed Sunburn Goa in 2015 and performed charity shows in Mumbai, Delhi, and Hyderabad during his #Guetta4Good tour in 2017. The French maestro, known for chart-topping anthems like “Titanium (feat. Sia)” and “Memories (feat Kid Cudi),” has been a fixture in the festival’s storied lineup. Fans can expect The Monolith to elevate the experience, turning the main stage into a colossal installation.
“Sunburn has always been about creating world-class music moments in India, and David Guetta embodies that vision perfectly,” said Karan Singh, CEO, Sunburn. “His association with us reflects how the festival has grown into one of Asia’s biggest stages for global talent. Kicking off this edition with him sets the tone of unmatched energy, global calibre and experiences that truly connect India to the world, and this is just the start of what’s coming next.”
