International superstar DJ David Guetta took home dance music’s biggest award at the iHeartRadio Music Awards last night in Los Angeles, CA.
Guetta appeared at the show to receive his award for Dance Artist of the Year. Guetta took the opportunity to thank Kelly Rowland, who he was seated next to him at the award show, for taking a chance on him when they collaborated on his 2009 breakout hit “When Love Takes Over.” The track earned 7 Platinum certifications, sold over 5 million copies worldwide, and served as Guetta’s first mega-smash in America.
