It is finally happening. Fred again.. has announced his debut India tour. Three shows across Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru this December. This would be his first-ever live performances in the country. He captioned the announcement simply: “India IN. It’s happening. Finallyyyyy. Haven’t had this many messages from a place since we first toured Australia. We are beyond excited to come.” For Indian electronic music fans who have been sending those messages to Fred for years, the wait is over. This news comes after months of speculation and immense patience.
How the Announcement Happened
The reveal was characteristically Fred. Before any official announcement, cryptic front-page advertisements carrying the word “again” in regional languages appeared in the Bombay Times, Delhi Times and Bangalore Times. Then came an Instagram Story of Fred riding through Bengaluru in an auto-rickshaw. Then a clip of viral creator Paperboy Ayan delivering the mysterious newspaper. By the time the official announcement landed, the internet had already done most of the work.

The custom tour poster was created by Kafeel Ahmed, an Old Delhi-based artist whose hand-painted sign-writing craft has roots in the city’s oldest commercial art traditions. Commissioning a local artist to create the announcement artwork rather than defaulting to a standard international tour graphic was a deliberate choice, and one that set the tone for how Fred intends to approach this visit: with genuine curiosity about the country he is arriving in.
The Tour Dates
The tour kicks off at Leisure Valley Ground in Delhi NCR on December 5th, moves to Mahalaxmi Race Course in Mumbai on December 9th, and concludes at NICE Grounds in Bengaluru on December 13th. All three venues are large-format outdoor spaces, the kind of setting that suits Fred’s full live show, which has consistently drawn some of the most emotionally charged crowd responses in electronic music over the past two years.
Readers please note that these are not DJ sets. The India dates mark Fred again..’s only live shows of 2026. A distinction worth underscoring. The full live show, which builds around voice notes, personal stories and real-life moments woven into the music, is a different experience from the USB tour sets. India gets the full version.
The Pricing
This is where the announcement gets genuinely interesting. Tickets are priced at ₹1,750 and ₹3,500 approximately $18 and $37, with support from Scotch whisky brand Monkey Shoulder making those prices possible. “We really wanted to make that price possible whilst also bringing our full live show to a place we’ve never been before,” Fred said. “I am VERY happy about this because I desperately want anyone who would like to come to be able to come.”
The accessible pricing is consistent with Fred’s broader philosophy about who his shows are for. It mirrors the approach he took to the USB002 tour, streaming every show on YouTube for free, sharing the creative files publicly, making the experience as open as possible. Three shows in India at prices that reflect the Indian market rather than international touring rates is an extension of that same thinking.
