The pandemic was and still is a hard time for many people. But for the healthcare workers, it was maybe the hardest. With this in mind, NHS (National Health Service) and public sector healthcare workers across Europe are getting a free resting holiday to Ibiza.
This initiative was done as part of the Together for Health Heroes (T4HH) program and wants to reward the key staff that put in hard efforts into combating the COVID-19 pandemic. Workers will be able to choose from 140 luxury accommodations in the world’s most recognized location for unforgettable parties.
“UNPRECEDENTED TIMES HIGHLIGHT EXCEPTIONAL PEOPLE. WE THANK THOSE WHO WE HAVE TRUSTED WITH OUR LIVES, BY GIFTING THEM OUR HOMES AND HOTELS IN IBIZA AND ACROSS EUROPE.” stated the organization.
More than 6,800 complimentary nights were gifted, with a value of more than 1 million euros. 400 NHS heroes will be chosen in total. This is a great reward for those who take care of us every day, with no exceptions.
