Ahead of his upcoming performance during Miami Music Week, Kastra drops “What U Need”, a massive single meant for soundtracking the scorching hot nightlife of the city. The song is included on Revealed Records’ Miami Sampler 2022 compilation. Kastra will play Project 91 presents Project South Beach party on March 25th, along with Cheat Codes, Party Favor, and Yung Bae.
Boasting support from Martin Garrix, Tiesto, Avicii, The Chainsmokers, Showtek, Knife Party, David Guetta, and many more, Ray Decker, better known as “Kastra,” has made quite a name for himself in a few short years. Born and raised on the Jersey Shore, a community deeply rooted in music history, Ray is a true product of his environment.
Kastra has released various singles and remixes on some of the dance music industry’s top labels, including Armada Music, Spinnin Records, Ultra Music, Enhanced Music, Dim Mak, and Ministry of Sound. Among these released were some major collaborations with artists such as Grammy award winner Fatman Scoop and DJ Mag #10 artist Timmy Trumpet. His record with Timmy Trumpet, “Wassup,” has racked up over 12 million Spotify plays and went to #1 on Australia’s Radio Metro.
His previous releases have garnered him spots on the Billboard Dance Top 10 chart and been featured on BPM on Sirius XM as a BPM Breaker. Along with many original releases, Kastra has official remixes for Ava Max, Showtek, 3LAU, and many more. Kastra has toured all over the US, and is set for a huge 2022 with his most ambitious music yet.
