Martin Garrix, David Guetta, AFROJACK, and Amél Will Finally Drop Their New Collaborative Single—‘Our Time’

EDM’s biggest stars unite for the first time—‘Our Time’ blends nostalgia and 2025 energy into a dance floor anthem.

On July 11, three of electronic music’s biggest forces—Martin Garrix, David Guetta, and AFROJACK—will officially release their first collaborative track together, ‘Our Time’, on Spinnin’ Records. The new single also features rising talent Amél, marking a symbolic fusion of legacy powerhouses with next-gen talent. Although the three artists have spent over a decade supporting each other, co-headlining festivals, and even collaborating behind the scenes, this track is their first-ever official release together.

‘Our Time’ isn’t just a song—it’s a timestamp. Premiered at AMF during ADE and then unleashed to a full-capacity crowd at Ushuaïa Ibiza during Guetta’s F*** Me I’m Famous residency, the track has already made history before hitting streaming platforms. Its blend of festival-sized drops, progressive house builds, and anthemic melodies channels the spirit of early 2010s EDM, yet feels entirely 2025. Fans describe it as “EDM’s answer to an all-star halftime show.” Each artist leaves a sonic fingerprint—Garrix’s melodic progressions, Guetta’s crowd-tested hooks, and AFROJACK’s pulsing energy.

Despite their distinct styles, the synergy is undeniable. Martin Garrix brings his genre-hopping sensibility, blending pop polish with emotional dance floor fire for ‘Our Time’. David Guetta’s evolution as a genre-bending architect of global hits underpins the collaboration’s mass appeal. AFROJACK’s crisp, Dutch-house percussion cuts through with purpose and nostalgia. Add Amél’s textured vocals, and the result is a festival weapon already dominating summer set lists.

EDM Titans Share Their Sentiments Behind Our Time

This release isn’t just a collaboration—it’s a legacy carved into melody. AFROJACK reflects on what makes this moment so personal. “I’m incredibly proud to be part of this project and to have our lives intertwined the way they are,” he shares. “This release brings together four generations—it’s a story that represents all of us, from where we started to where we are now. This is our time.” While their friendship has spanned years of festivals, co-signs, and shared stages, ‘Our Time’ is the first time their names appear side by side on an official track.

Martin Garrix credits the chemistry to something deeper than sound. “I’m really grateful the four of us came together for this track,” he says. “It’s a perfect example of what a great collaboration can be. I love how it all evolved, from the original demo and chord changes to the final result. I’m truly proud of what we’ve created.”

David Guetta offers a peek behind the curtain. “Even though it was sometimes difficult to coordinate our busy schedules and since we’re all in different parts of the world—we still made it work,” he explains. “What really stood out to me was how dedicated everyone was. Even when we were on stage together, playing the mix, we were still focused on making it better, down to the vocal details. That level of commitment says everything.”

Amél, the fresh name among legends, doesn’t hide his awe. “A few years ago, this was just a dream. Working with any of you felt so out of reach—and then Afrojack discovered me,” he shares. “To be here now, doing this, feels surreal. I’m incredibly grateful and so excited for what’s to come.”

Our Time, A Super Collab with Martin Garrix, David Guetta, and AFROJACK

‘Our Time’ isn’t about ego—it’s about timing. In a year when EDM feels rejuvenated, this collab reclaims center stage with both historical weight and forward-looking freshness. For Garrix, it reinforces his position as a young pioneer still pushing boundaries. For Guetta, it’s another chapter in a career defined by sonic reinvention. For AFROJACK, it’s a full-circle moment of innovation and style. And for Amél, it’s the beginning of something much bigger—proof that new voices still break through when legends listen.
