UNTOLD Festival 2021 Could Take Place with no Attendance Limit

The well known romanian festival taking place in the city of Cluj-Napoca, could take place this summer with no attendance limit, says the Ministry of Culture in Romania.

After one year of silence due to the coronavirus pandemic, the organizers from Untold are doing everything possible to bring back the festival in 2021, safely, for all the fans around the world. The minister of culture says that he wants all events, small and large, to re-open their gates this summer, but respect some clear rules.

Festivals could take place with participants that have been vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus, present a negative PCR test made within 48 hours before the event, or already had the virus and developed antibodies. Organizers are also taking into account the possibility of quick testing in special places designed at the festival entrance.

Edy Chereji, the communication manager of the festival says: “I think it is very important for the other ministers to have the same openness and to come to the table with us and be able to discuss in a concrete way what can be done this year. Time is still on our side.”

All these possibilities depend on the future evolution of the pandemic and may change with time, says the minister of culture in Romania.
