Resorts World Las Vegas announced Zedd as their headlining resident artist at Zouk Nightclub and AYU Dayclub in a multi-year deal. Both venues are part of the first new resort to be built on the Strip in over a decade, and also marks the first venture of the Zouk Group in the United States.
With the success of the vaccine helping cities across the country get back to normal, the Grammy award-winning producer becomes the first to sign a residency in Vegas since the pandemic. Andrew Li, Chief Executive Officer of Zouk Group, was ecstatic to announce the new home of the Russian-born German DJ as he says in a press release, “To provide such a visionary in the music industry with a brand-new stage at the Strip’s newest resort is truly an honor, and guests can expect an immersive show experience that extends well beyond a traditional DJ set.”
Zedd has had a residency in Vegas for close to a decade before the pandemic brought everything to a halt. In a statement released on his social media, Zedd says “I’m incredibly excited to come back to Vegas”. He has held down residencies at Vegas mega-clubs Hakkasan, Omnia and Wet Republic Dayclub.
The most expensive casino hotel ever built at $4.3 billion, Resorts World Las Vegas is opening this summer as the restrictions ease up. Performance dates and ticket information will be announced in the coming weeks. You can follow Zouk Group Las Vegas and Zedd on social media below for updates.
