Zedd’s song ‘The Middle’ was released on 23 January 2018 and in just 3 years he reached 1 Billion streams on Spotify. Not a lot of music producers can boast with such a big achievement but in the last couple of years the streaming platforms like Spotify become more popular and get used daily by millions of people around the world, you just need to have a great song and sky is the limit.
Zedd made the announcement on his social networks and thanked Maren Morris and Grey and also Sarah Aarons and The Monsters for writing the song together with them.
His other song Stay with Alessia Cara is at over 930M streams so in just a matter of a few months Zedd will have another song which will reach the massive millstone of 1 Billion streams
