AMF Postponed For Another Year

Amsterdam’s most recognized event, Amsterdam Music Festival (AMF), got postponed for another year. Even though event organizers across the Netherlands screamed for help and understanding through Unmute Us, the situation is harder than anticipated. The new date is October 22nd, 2022.

We need your love on that special night on the 16th of October in the beating heart of Amsterdam – the Johan Cruijff ArenA. We need your energy. We need your beautiful smiling faces. We need you to embrace each other again. We need you to make AMF your escape and take this journey with us once again. But the Dutch Government has other plans. We did all we could to reunite with you on the dancefloor again, but the world is still in a very surreal place and we will have to sadly miss you for one more year. It breaks our hearts that we will have to wait until 22 October 2022 to come together again in our music sanctuary in Amsterdam. AMF 2021 may not happen in the ArenA but we will still celebrate it together. Last year we connected 7 million of you worldwide for a unique edition of AMF online where we were joined by an incredible lineup in spectacular locations across Amsterdam and crowned the World’s No.1 DJ. Stay tuned to our socials for more info about how we will celebrate this year. All tickets for the 2021 edition will remain valid for next year. If you can’t join us next year, you can request a refund. All ticket buyers will receive more info soon, so keep an eye on your inbox. – AMF Team

Like last year, AMF will organize a unique online edition, with top-class artists and a special ceremony for crowning the #1 DJ in the world. Ticket holders can keep it for 2022 or request a refund, information following soon by email.

It is unfortunate to see the world capital of electronic dance music suffering hard times like this, and we keep our hopes up for a fast recovery.
