- Hey EDMNOMAD Team, thanks for letting me be here. I never thought about this huge success i had with “Line” when i created it. That the track also was #1 in US iTunes Dance Charts is something i will never forget.
- Can you please tell us more details about ‘Line’? How did it come to life and when?
- I was working on some ideas and one day i had this melody in my head. After that, everything happened very quickly. If I remember correctly, Line was finished in less than 10 hours.
- What sets ‘Line’ apart from your work, and why should listeners tune in if they haven’t heard it?
- “Line” was the song that got everything moving after using elements i never used before. I used flutes, horns which sounds incredibly well and carry the song.
They should tune in because they have never heard something like this before.
- How would you describe your sound?
- Unique and challenging. Unique for the people and challenging for me to create stuff that was never used/heard before.
- Who is JULIAN KNOXX and why music? At what age did you get into music and how?
- I´m a normal person that loves music, to dj, it and cars. I make many decisions based on my gut feeling. I often unconsciously took the right turn. Why music? Music has always been there and will always play a crucial role in my life. My parents played me Dario G´s “Sunchyme” and Gigi Dagostino´s “L´amour toujours when i was a little child. That was the moment when it clicked.
- Who’s the artist you admire and you want to collaborate with in the future?
- Martin Garrix, Gigi Dagostino and The Weeknd.
- Who or what has been your biggest inspiration throughout your music journey?
- Dario G, Gigi Dagostino and Martin Garrix. MG is my idol and the reason why i downloaded the DAW back then.
- What’s the one activity you love doing in your free time when not making music?
- Then I really enjoy doing sports. Riding a bike or doing a few pull-ups.
- Can you tell us more about your dream and future collaboration and what do you hope to achieve in the next 3 years in your professional career?
- My dream is to play a gig at the Tomorrowland Mainstage in Belgium. Right now i am working on 7 IDs and some of them sound crazy good. Hopefully i got the chance to work with the collaborateurs i mentioned above in this time.
