From Kilimanjaro to Nepal: LNADJ DJs Launch Revolutionary Sonic Expedition in Nepal

Last Night A DJ Saved My Life embarks on Nepal 2026 with a 13‑day Himalayan expedition, uniting DJs, adventure, and empowerment through the world’s highest full moon party.

Last Night A DJ Saved My Life (LNADJ) has announced A Sonic Adventure in Nepal 2026. The project follows the sold-out London premiere of Ain’t No Mountain High Enough, a documentary about the Kilimanjaro expedition led by Nightmares On Wax.

LNADJ Nepal: A Mission Beyond Music

LNADJ launches its most ambitious journey yet in Nepal. From 16-29 November 2026, the charity will lead a 13-day Himalayan expedition. The adventure culminates in the world’s highest full moon party at Lake Tilicho, standing at 4,919m. Created with The Tribe Experience, the expedition blends adventure, creativity, community, and purpose. The mission aims to empower young women in Nepal.

Global DJ Submissions Surge

A female DJ competition continues to go viral. LNADJ asked: Who will DJ the highest full moon party on Earth? Four weeks later, hundreds of submissions arrived from female and gender-diverse DJs worldwide. Shares, comments, and nominations surged across social platforms.

Founder Jonny Lee said, “Seeing the global women-in-music community step forward has been incredible. The passion and purpose are deeply moving.”

Funds raised will complete the Girls Learning Centre in Devchuli. This centre expands Nepal’s Girls’ Empowerment Programme (GEP). Since 2018, GEP has supported over 27,000 girls. It helped them escape early marriage and trafficking, gain education, counselling, and vocational training. The new centre will provide safe spaces, personal development, and leadership opportunities for thousands more.

From Kilimanjaro to the Himalayas

The London premiere of Ain’t No Mountain High Enough marked a symbolic handover. The film documented LNADJ’s 2018 Kilimanjaro climb. Nightmares On Wax led the highest DJ set ever performed on Earth. The climb raised funds for a home supporting 50 children with special needs in Tanzania.

The screening included a live Q&A with Nightmares On Wax and filmmaker Neil Kemp. Guests reflected on the emotional journey and legacy created through music. In addition, street artist Nicolas Dixon contributed exclusive prints for auction. His geometric work remains celebrated across electronic music culture.

LNADJ and its Nepal 2026 expedition marks a bold continuation of its mission to unite music, adventure, and empowerment. The search for the headline DJ remains underway, with global submissions already showcasing the strength of female and gender‑diverse talent. That energy will carry into the Himalayas, where the chosen artist will perform at Lake Tilicho under the full moon, symbolising resilience and unity.

Fundraising efforts also drive momentum. Every ticket and donation supports the Girls Learning Centre in Devchuli, expanding safe spaces and education for thousands of young women. Transitioning from Kilimanjaro’s legacy to Nepal’s future, LNADJ and The Tribe Experience prove that electronic music culture can extend far beyond the dance floor, creating lasting change through purpose‑driven action.
