Global trio, Swedish House Mafia are officially set to headline Soundstorm 2025 in Riyadh, on December 11 to 13. The chart-topping trio will share the stage with a massive first wave of Soundstorm headliners including Calvin Harris, Black Coffee, Ben Böhmer, DJ Snake, and more. The weekend is poised to strengthen Saudi Arabia’s electronic music scene with MDLBEAST leading the way.
Last year’s edition attracted over 450,000 fans across three energy-charged days, transforming Riyadh into a desert rave capital. Organisers promise to elevate every element this year, from production to sound design, pushing boundaries once again.
Swedish House Mafia, Superhuman, and Soundstorm 2025
In June 2025, the trio released Wait So Long, their first single under their newly launched label Superhuman. The track symbolises creative independence and artistic renewal. Earlier this year, they also produced Closing Night for The Weeknd’s special edition album, extending their long-running and successful collaboration with the superstar. These moves signal a new era for the group—one rooted in control, vision, and reinvention.
The Superhuman label, est. 2025, aims to be a creative hub for boundary-pushing artists. It represents their collective ambition to foster innovation beyond the festival mainstage. The label’s philosophy echoes Swedish House Mafia’s evolution from club icons to cultural architects shaping the next generation of electronic sound.
What’s Next for Swedish House Mafia
Looking ahead, the trio’s 2026 schedule is nothing short of epic. They will perform at GMO Sonic in Makuhari on January 18, 2026, before headlining two historic shows at Ullevi Stadium in Gothenburg on August 28 and 29, 2026. One of these, their biggest performance ever, marking their long-awaited return to Swedish arenas after seven years.
