We are experiencing a delicate situation this year as our lives have changed drastically and very quick as a consequence of the world facing head-on the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result of the preventive measures adopted by most of the countries in the world, large gatherings of people have been postponed or even canceled. Music festivals are the biggest players when it comes to mass gatherings and they couldn’t neglect the implications of not cancelling this year’s editions.
Tomorrowland is one of those many festivals, and they have just posted a video of Armin van Buuren visiting their festival’s location in Belgium and recalling loads of memories from the past while playing on the mainstage.
“This is where I’m normally once a year, but… not this year”, Armin contemplating while looking at the vast empty plain where the mainstage would have been. “This is the holy ground… so many memories have been created here”.
Fortunately, Tomorrowland have announced that they will, however, take the festival to the digital lands, and host Around the World – The digital festival. On July 25th & 26th, the first chapter in The Reflection of Love will be written. Festival lovers should prepare for a spectacular two-day digital music festival experience on a new location, bringing together the planet’s biggest names in electronic dance music on multiple stages and the world’s best technology in 3D design, video production and special effects.
