With the unveiling of their latest plans, Verknipt has outdone themselves, announcing the biggest hard techno event in history. Verknipt ArenA will take place on Saturday, July 20th, 2024 in Amsterdam’s iconic Johan Cruijff ArenA, a venue that hosts some of dance music’s most legendary events like Sensation and AMF. The event will have a mindblowing capacity of 40,000 visitors, going above and beyond anything that has been pulled off in the hard techno scene to date. Verknipt ArenA will see a selection of the genre’s top acts as well as hard techno’s most promising artists, running for a total of 10 hours.
After years of explosive growth, Verknipt has firmly established itself as the world’s leading hard techno brand. Previous Verknipt events managed to sell out rapidly, well before announcing any of the performing artists, demonstrating their following’s dedication. The line-up for Verknipt ArenA will be made public at a later time, trusting their devoted movement will spring into action solely on the news of this event at an unprecedented scale.
“Over the past three years, we’ve truly seen a movement come up in the techno scene and we’re extremely excited about Verknipt’s leading role within it.” Verknipt founder and co-owner Mer Hajbarati added about the current climate. “With so much competition in this industry, it’s rewarding to see what you’re doing hitting the right spot with a large audience. If you would’ve suggested a hard techno stadium show 3 years ago, you would’ve been laughed out of the room. But look at us now.”
Pre-registration for Verknipt ArenA is now possible via this link with ticket sales starting on October 25th at 14:00 CEST for registrants. The general ticket sale starts on October 26th at 14:00 via www.verknipt.org/arena.
